This photo was captured while standing in the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean at Muir Beach, California. The beach is smaller than I expected, but for what it lacked in size it made up for in beauty. The large boulders are a spectacular contrast against the cold, rocky beach. I used a neutral density filter to capture motion in the clouds and the water. From this angle the nearby cliffs frame the rocky coastline.
